Practicing Digital Painting with Arcane

Duration of making: 12h 55m Being an artist myself, a big fan of steampunk and art deco style, and always open to great stories, I obviously became a huge fan of the  Arcane show . The way how it's done with all the details is highly remarkable. I became inspired and wanted to develop my digital painting skills so I picked some of my favorite scenes from the show and did my best to paint them accordingly. This was less about my creativity rather more about following the artistic world of Arcane. Some of them are rendered fully, others a bit sketchy like a concept art. I've Illustrated Five Children's Books

Between 2019-2021, I've illustrated five children's books. I designed the layouts and covers as well. These were quite challenging and creative works with great clients. We worked together for years with the author Marcus Kahle McCann to create the amazing story of The Boy Who Was Fire and the cute poem called Look at the Boy that Looks Like a Fox. This was my first time ever making a children's book and I felt very happy to get such a great opportunity. Kahle is such a great client and really lovely person ^^  Learn more about these books >>   Sarah McAneney found me with a lovely tale of Mina's Rain Dance. Great and humorous story about the power of kindness and community. It was the longest children's book I've made so far, filled with challenging illustrations like drawing a square or a rainy scene or lots of side characters.
